After months of uncertainty over his departure from YellowstoneKevin Costner took to his Instagram account to announce that he would not return as John Dutton in the final episodes of season 5 of Yellowstone. “I wanted to speak and tell you that after a year and a half of work on Horizon, and all that may have entailed while continuing to think about Yellowstone, this series that I love as much as you love it, I realized that I am not going to be able to commit to the end of season 5 or in a future project”he explained, before thanking those who followed him in the western available on Paramount+. “It's a series that changed everything for me. I loved doing it, and I know you loved it. I wanted to tell you that I'm not coming back and that I loved our relationship with you mine.”
