“The very example of decline…”: Cyril Hanouna pays himself to a President of the Republic live

When there is no more, there is still some. Did you think that Cyril Hanouna would take a break after the end of Touche pas à mon poste? Missed. The host is back with his columnists, this time on the radio. Since this Monday, June 17 and for two weeks, Baba and his team have met with Europe 1 listeners every day at the end of the afternoon to decipher political news ahead of the legislative elections.

Among his first guests were Eric Zemmour, Pascal Praud, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, Véronique Genest or even Julien Odoul, outgoing RN deputy. And while the speeches seem, for the moment, to come from the same political side, Cyril Hanouna attacked this Wednesday a personality who leans more to the port side.

François Hollande, for me, is truly the very example of decline on the left”, says the host after criticizing “greed” from the former president’s camp. Then add: “He was President of the Republic, he will find himself a deputy next to Louis Boyard in the Assembly. It’s still from a dream to a nightmare”.

“The guy is rubbish”: Cyril Hanouna not tender with this former president

This is not the first time that Cyril Hanouna
attacks François Hollande
. Already, in September 2022, he reacted to certain criticisms of the former president addressed to Emmanuel Macron. “You had 5 years to do the job and you didn’t even show yourself behind it (…) I can’t take anymore of those giving lessons, the guy sucks and he allows himself to give lessons”, said the host.

A few months later, François Hollande explained why he did not intend to appear in Touche pas à mon poste. “It is a game which is precisely based on controversy. If we want to avoid controversies, we might as well not go there”, he explained before adding: “ freedom is being able to say what you think but being able to say it with words that are not those of insult, exclusion or vulgarity”.
