Next week, in Dumas, you will be treated to a new story that is intriguing to say the least. Indeed, Intelco will receive a visit from a new client who appears to be a victim of extortion.
More precisely, François Dubuc (Jean Petitclerc), a very rich man in his fifties, explains to Sophie (Marie-Lyne Joncas) that shortly after his marriage to Marjorie (Léa Girard Nadeau), a former escort, he received the visit of two proud-to-arms. Jean (Gildor Roy), who believes that we are dealing with an extortion attempt, recommends that he not pay. The client and the investigator will not always see things the same way…
In the roles of the two stalwarts, we find the actors Olivier Barrette and Jonathan St-Armand.
It is therefore with pleasure that we reconnect with Olivier Barrette, the son of the comedian Michel Barrette, a few months after seeing him in the daily newspaper Indéfendable. There as here, the actor inherits a role that is odious to say the least, a man ready to do anything to get what he wants.
We know that Olivier Barrette is capable of shining in complex roles, as he proved to us last season in A Heart Beater where he played Gaston Mathieu, a father who beat his children.
It is therefore a pleasure to find him in this new context, where he plays the captivating texts of the author Luc Dionne.
Note that this episode is the penultimate of the mid-season, before a holiday break.
DUMAS continues, Mondays at 8 p.m., on -.
