Léa Salamé will host a very political evening, this Saturday, November 9 in What an era!. His guests do not necessarily share the same ideas, but they will come to defend theirs, and their works, on France 2, from 11:15 p.m.
The evening is likely to be a bit eventful on France 2, this Saturday, November 9. After a short absence during the All Saints’ Day weekend, Léa Salamé this evening receives several political figures from different sides in What an era! from 11:15 p.m. Jordan Bardellafirst, will be present on the set to present his autobiography, released this week. The president of the National Rally, who poses as a successor to Marine Le Pen in the hope of accessing the presidency in 2027, wrote What I’m looking for. He describes his childhood, but also campaign stories and his political ideas. The release of this book has already caused controversy, in particular because of the promotional campaign started by its publisher, Fayard, with booksellers. Jordan Bardella will perhaps explain this to Léa Salamé. But there will be another politician around the table, at the opposite end of the political spectrum: François Ruffin.
François Ruffin brings together two very different worlds
The left-wing deputy from Somme, who also makes no secret of his presidential ambitions, is also on a promotional tour. François Ruffin released a new documentary, on November 6, entitled Get to work!. He invited the lawyer and columnist from BFM and Cnews Sarah Saldmann to work for a few days with a care assistant, Louisaand other men and women who work in essential sectors every day. The MP and the two women will be around the table What an era! to return to this experience. Still on political issues, but on the other side of the Atlantic, the journalist Thomas Snégaroff will return to the American elections, which saw Donald Trump being re-elected. The YouTuber Gaspard G will do the same, following a documentary published on his channel in which he questions the phenomenon of micro-influencers and their role in Donald Trump’s victory.
Unpublished images of Florent Pagny thanks to his daughter
Drawing on his experience as a major reporter, Maryse Burgot will perhaps also have things to say about the United States. But it’s from his autobiography Far from home, great reporter and daughter of farmers that the journalist will speak to Léa Salamé and Christophe Dechavanne. To continue this evening made of books, the presenters of What an era! will also discuss with Ael Pagnythe daughter of Florent Pagny, who is releasing a photo book, Pagny by Ael. Finally, the comedian Florent Peyre will talk about his show, Naturethe last of which will be at the Folies Bergère on January 19, and from the series Commander Saint Barthwhich he wears for TF1 from November 21.
