In the episode ofHere it all begins from Monday November 11, 2024, Enzo (Azize Diabaté) announces to Master students thata new draw will take place to choose the next leader who will test his concept at the restaurant-labo. Tom (Tom Darmon), Lionel (Lucien Belvès) and Quentin (Tristan Bowles) panic, not yet having a concept worked out enough for their taste. Moreover, they have no desire to follow Jude (Galaad Quenouillère), who has had incredible success with his cabbages. If they fail, it will be even more evident.
To ensure that we are not drawn, the three young leaders discreetly withdraw their names from the urn. They also add papers in the name of Mehdi (Marvin Pellegrino), who seemed quite serene about the idea of becoming head of the restaurant-lab… At the time of the draw, Enzo draws Mehdi's name. Tom, Lionel and Quentin pretend to be reassured, but they are caught in their own game. By drawing lots for Mehdi's brigade, Enzo draws several papers in his name. He understands that Tom, Lionel and Quentin cheated so as not to be nominated. Annoyed, Enzo announces that the next chef will be chosen by Rose (Vanessa Demouy) and him.
Wiesberg's manias exasperate Antoine
During his pastry class, Wiesberg (Noémie Zeitoun) sends Mattéo (Louis Bouquet) to the commissary to look for gruel flour. When he returned, he explained that he had not found any. So he took regular flour instead. Upset, Alice declares that her recipe cannot be made perfectly without oatmeal flour. She therefore makes the drastic decision to cancel her course.
Informed of the course cancellation, Antoine (Frédéric Diefenthal) goes to see Alice. He points out that canceling a class for just one ingredient isn't really acceptable. She should have adapted and offered another recipe to her students. Alice replies that she has a lot of difficulty improvising and maintains that she could not make her recipe with another type of flour. She advises Antoine to go ask chef Teyssier (Benjamin Baroche), who will tell him the same thing.
With these words, Antoine goes to see Clotilde (Elsa Lunghini) and asks her opinion. Chef Armand recognizes that you can't make a recipe with just any ingredient, but she admits that Alice is sometimes very rigid. The last time they worked together, she struggled with his lack of flexibility… Convinced that the problem comes from Alice, Antoine plans to talk to Teyssier about it. Clotilde asks him to be patient…
Sam comes to turn around Anaïs
At the Teyssiers, Emmanuel invites all the elite of gastronomy to come and taste Anaïs' (Julie Sassoust) new menu the following week. Constance (Sabine Perraud) fears that Anaïs has taken on too risky a challenge, but Teyssier is not anxious. He knows that the young woman has the skills to develop an excellent menu and he will do everything to ensure that she succeeds. For her part, Anaïs gets to work. She begins by asking Vic (Lou Ladegaillerie) to help her develop her new menu, which she accepts without hesitation.
In the Institute park, Milan (Gabriel Réhsé) is surprised to come across Sam, his ex-cellmate. The young man asks him again to work for him, without success. Milan repeats that he has turned the page on drug trafficking. A little disappointed, Sam quickly changes the subject when he sees Anaïs passing in the distance. He asks Milan to introduce it to him, which annoys the latter. He asks her not to come near Anaïs.
Before lunch service, Teyssier goes into the kitchen to take stock with Anaïs. Upon learning that she chose Vic to assist her, the director grimaces. He forces Anaïs to organize a competition to find a second who will be able to challenge her 100%. Anaïs opposes it, in vain. Teyssier leaves him no choice. During the service, Anaïs goes into the room to ask the customers about her new entry. She asks questions to Sam, who takes the opportunity to invite her for a drink. Hearing this, Milan gets on his high horse and intervenes. Her behavior annoys Anaïs, who believes that she can talk to whoever she wants, having no accountability to Milan.
Milan becomes Anaïs' second
Having witnessed Anaïs and Milan's argument, Teyssier will ask Enzo questions. What's going on between the boss and the new kid? Enzo explains that Anaïs and Milan have had difficulty working together since their history. It’s even because of him that the young chef went to Dinard for a few weeks…
A few hours later, Teyssier organizes the competition to name the members of Anaïs's brigade. Seeing that Milan is one of the competitors, Anaïs reacts and asks Teyssier not to let him compete… At the end of the day, the young chef and the director meet up to blind taste the dishes of the competing students. Anaïs selects a surprising plate which inspires her enormously. Upon discovering that it is Milan's plate, she tries to back out, but Teyssier refuses. Too bad for her, it's Milan who will be her second.
