This Tuesday, November 5, M6 broadcasts the last two episodes of Murder Clubthe captivating mini-series carried by Tiphaine Daviot and Eric Cantona. This fiction, which starts as a comedy and evolves into a gripping thriller, follows the hunt for “Shakespeare”, a serial killer who has been plaguing the north of France for several years. As the case reaches its conclusion at the end of the evening, a question arises: will the fiery young policewoman and the quirky criminologist return for a new investigation?
Murder Club : A season 2 in sight?
Conceived as a mini-series completed with the arrest of the killer, Murder Club does not seem intended for an immediate sequel. However, the ending intentionally leaves a few doors open. Enough to maintain a slim hope of a return from this improbable team. Tiphaine Daviot, alias Amélia Delcourt and Eric Cantona, alias Daniel Hansen, are in any case not closed to the idea. The series' audiences will certainly be decisive in M6's decision to order or not this famous season 2. After a mixed debut last week and 1.8 million viewers watching the first two episodes, this evening's scores will be followed with attention.
Tiphaine Daviot: “I prefer to be surprised by the rest of the story”
In the event of a sequel, Tiphaine Daviot seems to prefer surprise regarding the evolution of her character: “I don't think about that kind of stuff at all. When it's been several seasons, maybe you have desires for your character, but here I like the Kinder Surprise side. I love letting myself be surprised by the scenario, it's more fun than trying to guess what will happen,” she explained to our colleagues at Tele-Leisure. To be continued.
