Fans of Miraculous know only too well that Marinette and Adrien, or Ladybug and Cat Noir, are still not a couple after four seasons filled with many adventures. And yet, this episode of season 3 could be a hell of a clue for the end of the cartoon. Explanations.

In Miraculousit’s no secret that Marinette and Adrien form a couple with impossible love. Indeed, Marinette is in love with Adrien, which is not reciprocated, while Cat Noir has feelings for Ladybug, which are not shared by the latter.
Furthermore, the two heroes cannot reveal their secret identities because of the threat posed by Butterfly/Papillshadow/Monarch. We saw this clearly in the episode “Cat Blanc” from season 3 as well. And unfortunately, Ladybug and Cat Noir will continue to keep the secret even once adults, as evidenced by the episode “Timetagger” where a new Papillon sows trouble in Paris.
Miraculous : what if Marinette got into a relationship with Adrien only after losing all her memories?
Even if the creators of Miraculous continue to torture fans through this impossible love, the episode “Oblivio” from season 3 has something to intrigue us, since despite appearances, it could well be essential for the rest of the story.
In this episode, Ladybug and Cat Noir lost their memories due to a supervillain named Oblivio (who happens to be the combination of Alya and Nino). But this new villain is far from being the fundamental element of this episode. We first see Marinette and Adrien discover their secret identities, although they have both lost their memories. Thus freed from their fears of being unmasked, the two characters become attached and soon become closer…just before regaining their memories and shattering the spectators’ dreams.
However, in the last episode of season 3 entitled “Miracle Queen”, viewers were surprised to see Master Fu entrust Ladybug with the responsibility of being the new guardian of the Miracle Box. But by abandoning his role as guardian, Master Fu lost all his memories, including those he had of Marianne, his companion. But this loss of memory didn’t stop Marinette’s mentor from falling in love with Marianne again… What if the same thing happened to our heroine?
It is difficult to know for how long Marinette will continue to take on the role of Ladybug as well as that of the guardian of the Miracle Box. But in any case, she will end up losing all the memories she has since the day she received the Ladybug Miraculous. However, Adrien will always remember Cat Noir no matter what. We can therefore assume that they will be free to become a couple only after his memory loss at the end of the cartoon. What if Marinette and Adrien were the next Master Fu and Marianne?
