the series unveils 2 Super, the next episodes will be decisive

Since 2019 and the release of its first season, the series The Boys from Prime Video has taken the web by storm. Gory, full of twists and turns and peppered with black humor, the series quickly presented itself as one of the best productions of the moment. And as season 4 approaches, the teasing continues, notably with the presentation of two new Supers.

the boys season 4, a week to wait

Fans know, season 4 of The Boys will not be his last. Prime Video has already announced the production of a season 5. A series that has become cult which delights the Netflix competitor, and allows it to shine on the web. Trailers, this season 4 has seen quite a few. The appointment is set for June 13, with the posting of the first three episodes of this season 4. A new batch of episodes which already promises to be particularly trashy, in the continuity of the series you might say.

And while some have turned to Gen Vthe spin-off of The Boys released last fall, others preferred to rewatch the first three seasons to get back into the swing of things. In just one week, The Boys will therefore return with a fourth season, with superheroes more violent and unhealthy than ever.

two new supers in the rank of seven

Two characters of Gen V will notably appear on screen: Sam (Asa Germann) and Cate (Maddie Philipps). Two characters who should respectively arrive in episodes 5 and 8 of this season 4, ready to join the ranks of Homelander, aka The Protector in French. But before knowing more about this expected crossover, the official X account of The Boys released a new poster showcasing two new Supers.

Sister Sage (Susan Heyward) and Firecracker (Valorie Curry) will be the next two Supers to join the ranks of the Seven, with the firm intention of ruining Hughie and Butcher’s plans. Unfortunately for the duo, Sister Sage is none other than the smartest superhero in the world, while Firecracker will embody the unique reflection of a real-world political archetype.

It’s a very fun power“, explained Eric Kripke, the director of the series, to Entertainment Weekly. “Many superhero worlds have this character. While most of them tend to be very responsive white men, we wanted a black woman raised in a low socioeconomic area, so no one would listen to her. It’s both a commentary and a satire: you literally have the smartest person in the world who could cure all of society’s ills, but no one can listen to him. She then becomes a bitter misanthrope“.

A Sister Sage that no one listens to? A flaw that Butcher and Hughie could exploit in this season 4 of The Boys. But to find out more about this new season, you will still have to wait a few days. See you on June 13 to discover the first three episodes of season 4 of The Boys. What is certain is that we will be there to discover them.
