Asked about his future collaborations, the singer was very direct about his way of seeing things.
Team spirit made in the Star Academy
November 4, 2023, France discovered the academicians who made up the new promotion of the Star Academy. If the telecrochet had already had a first season since the return of the show in 2022, generating moderate enthusiasm, the 2023-2024 class still continues to be talked about today. And for good reason: it was in this season that viewers were able to meet gifted and endearing candidates, likeHelena, Lazy, Candice and of course Pierre Garnier, the big winner of that year, in full success storywith a first album already platinum.
And if the season has so fascinated viewers, in addition to the undeniable talent of the young candidates, it is above all for the spirit of mutual aid and the good atmosphere which reigned in the castle. An obvious complicity, which was further confirmed on stage during their very profitable tour. Faced with the enthusiasm of the fans, we would be right to wonder if Pierre Garnier could collaborate with some of his little comrades. But the latter has a very specific opinion on the question…
“Finding our identity“, a common desire
Interviewed by our colleagues from Ciné Télé Revuethe one who sang with Matt Pokora made some confessions about his future collaborations with his former comrades: it's not planned for right away. The reason? If their friendship is real, their image is, for the moment, far too attached to the Star Academy and the spirit of “groupe” However, each of them dreams of their own career, and ofexist as a musician with their close identityas Pierre Garnier explains.
“So, we talked about it… and we all said that, for the moment, it wasn't the best idea, because we were all associated for several months, whether during the show or even the Star Ac tour. (…) It's important for us to find our identityto find ourselves before sharing a song” – Pierre Garnier
However, Pierre does not close the door one day to a possible collaboration with one, or more, of his former classmates.

So while waiting to fantasize a future duo for Pierre Garnier, the singer has his hands full with his personal projects, such as a second album, already in preparation!
