Werewolves: what to remember from episodes 5 & 6

Episodes 5 and 6 of Werewolves spoiled us in terms of action! Two villagers devoured, two role cards unlocked, a first wolf eliminated and thrilling revelations… Not easy to follow. We recap: the end of episode 4 left us with unbearable suspense, by revealing the voice of a second wolf. Some of you had identified him, episode 5 confirmed it: it was indeed Olivier.

And if the villagers did not have access to the same information as the spectators, they did not do too badly on their side. Following the quest won in episodes 3 and 4, they notably won the role card of the witch, who can choose to resurrect the last devoured player – an important role, which was assigned to Clara.

But that's not all! The fox card was also unlocked, and offered a player the opportunity to find out if a wolf was hiding among three names of their choice… In exchange for their sacrifice. It was Suzy who volunteered, and who nominated Nesrine, Charlie and Olivier. The villagers were thus able to know that at least one wolf was hiding among this trio.

This information consolidated the villagers' doubts about Olivier, whom Dylan had already openly accused in the previous episode. Considered suspicious by all the players, the former spy – until then unsuspected – was eliminated by all the villagers (including his two wolf friends, who had no choice so as not to appear suspicious ), and left the game.

But Olivier is not the only player whose adventure has ended. In addition to Suzy's sacrifice for the Fox role card, two other people were devoured by wolves. The first was Dylan, deemed too smart for his own good and suspected (rightly) of being the little girl (although he never actually used his power). However, Dylan was saved by Clara, thanks to her witch power. The following night, unfortunately, it was she who was singled out by the wolves… and who had to leave, no longer able to use her power to save herself. There are now only 6 players left.

If the wolves think they are safe after Olivier's elimination, in reality, the villagers are still one step ahead of them: Alexane, the clairvoyant, used her power to discover Charlie's identity… and therefore learned that he was a wolf. Although she has not yet made this information public, the pro poker player, who loves bluffing, intends to use it wisely to manipulate the opposing camp.

There remains the question of the third wolf, which still divides the village. Some, like Dylan, are convinced that it is Alexane, while others, like Nesrine, begin to suspect Edwin, the captain of the game. And what the spectators learned in the last seconds of the episode 6, is that the villagers are all wrong: the third wolf, who played his game very well, is in reality… Stéphane, whom they have wrongly chosen to protect by granting him immunity for the next Wolf Council. Oops ! So, will the village succeed in winning despite everything?
