This Saturday, October 26 at 9:05 p.m., France 3 broadcasts its highly successful fiction “Murders in” devoted this time to Nîmes.
It was last March that the filming of the Nîmes episode took place, lasting around twenty days, choosing a scene in the heart of historic monuments. The streets of the city center, the UNESCO-listed Maison Carrée, the Jardins de la Fontaine and the Tour Magne, the Arena, the Maison Albar-Impérator as well as the University of Nîmes on the Hoche site.
Moreover, the plot of this episode is as follows: a few days before retirement, the captain of the gendarmerie, Béatrice Pernetti, takes a dim view of the arrival of her future replacement, the “Parisian” Alix Madrigal. Although a priori at odds with each other, the two women will quickly have to put their differences aside. At the foot of the Magne Tower, lies a lifeless body, in a gladiator costume, with a sword buried in its stomach… In such an emblematic place, who decided to bring combat to the death back into fashion? And above all, why? The two women have a week together to get to know each other, stop the assassin, and discover more complicity than they could have imagined.
