TV5MONDE has just announced the launch of two new FAST channels (for “Free Ad-supported Streaming Television”) on the Samsung TV Plus service, in France and Italy. Indeed, the international French-speaking channel – which has just welcomed a new CEO, Kim Younesformer Managing Director of BFM Business – and Samsung have signed an agreement for the launch of two Samsung TV Plus channels. Available on more than 60 million Samsung terminals in Europethis free streaming service is entirely funded by advertising.
TV5MONDE Travel was launched on Monday October 21 in France, while TV5MONDE Info will be available from December on the Samsung TV Plus service in France and Italy. Antoine Chotard, Country Lead Samsung TV France & Middle East & North Africarejoiced in a press release: “Owners of Samsung Smart TVs can now benefit from a new editorialized offer in highly popular areas, travel escape and information, offered by TV5MONDE, directly accessible from their TV.”
TV5MONDE Voyage offers, as its name suggests, travel and lifestyle content with a selection of premium series on escape, fashion, design and current trends as well as unique meetings with artists, designers and entrepreneurs. Successful shows such as “L’Art & la Matière”, “Démo de mode” and “Tendance XXI” are on the program. For its part, TV5MONDE Info broadcasts the latest news journals and current affairs magazines produced by TV5MONDE and its partnerssuch as “64' Le Monde en Français”, “Le Journal international”, the major political interview Internationales, “L'invite” as well as the program “Objectif Monde”.

These new FAST channels from TV5MONDE join in particular those of the Webedia group (AlloCiné, Épicurieux and Popcorn) present on Samsung TV Plus since 2023, as well as those of RMC BFM (“RMC Wow”, “RMC Mystère”, “RMC Talk Info” , “BFM Grands Reportages”, etc.) launched in spring 2024.
