This Friday, the set of It ends well the week was visited by two true legends of local culture: Yvon Deschamps and Janette Bertrand. The latter, who will be 100 years old next spring, has made numerous television appearances in recent months, she who always has a thousand ideas on fire.

His newest project? The upcoming launch of the book “100 Years of Love: Reflections on Old Age”, which aims to restore the self-esteem of women and men who are afraid of aging. Because according to his words: “ If you’re not old, you’re dead! You’re dead, if you’re not old! So, there is justice in growing old: everyone will age. »

She is also the inspiration behind Janettea play which will be presented at Duceppe next year, and which retraces the journey of the great Quebec lady at different stages of her life. If the nonagenarian is used to surprising us, the opposite happened in the studio, while the team of the popular talk show brought Zoé Lajeunesse-Guy (see her photo here), the granddaughter of Janette.

Filled with pride to play in a work highlighting the fame of her grandmother, Zoé specifies:

« It represents a lot of pride. I think it’s unique, I’m lucky to be able to be part of that. To participate in this celebration of you, your work, your life… »

Julie Bélanger then asks him what it feels like to have Janette Bertrand as a grandmother, which is not insignificant, who many consider to be the “grandmother of all Quebecers”. She confides:

« It’s not flat! I always seem to go to bed less stupid. (…) I realized when we went shopping at Simons, there were people who stopped, who recognized her: “Thank you for everything you have done”. You say: “Ah, yes ok there was an impact! People are touched, they want to talk with her.” But it’s certain that for me, she’s my grandmother! I have a hard time, even calling her Janette is weird! It’s not Janette, it’s grandma! »

A beautiful relationship unites the two women, and it was very touching to see them together!

Remember that Janette Bertrand recently confided that she had “ so much pain » after a number by Dominique Michel. All the details here.

The talk show It ends well the week is broadcast on Fridays at 7 p.m. on TVA.
