It all begins here with the discovery of a corpse below a cliff, on the side of the superb Saintes archipelago. This is the body of Caroline Boissaux, formerly the head of the Tourment d’Amour hotel. Dispatched to the site, Gaëlle Boissaux will be responsible for resolving this matter… A case for which the captain will team up with a certain Ludovic Augustin, her childhood sweetheart, originally from Terre-de-Bas, like her! You will have understood, suspense and feelings will be present in a particular investigation… Because yes, a ghost frightening the local population will come to disrupt the investigations. A specter that some imagine as the reincarnation of the legend of Caroline, this Saintoine who out of spite in love committed suicide 200 years ago, throwing herself from the top of the same cliff as that of Caroline Boissaux.
The ghost of the Saintes : Guadeloupe is in the spotlight!
Originally, this TV film produced by Eloa Prod was to join the collection Murders in…but to avoid confusion with the famous city in the south of France, the final title became The ghost of the Saintes. It was thus canned in Guadeloupe, in the Saintes archipelago. From May 29 to June 22, 2023, Marc Barrat’s cameras were installed in Terre-de-Bas, but also in the commune of Gosier, at the beach of Anse Vinaigri, but not only. In fact, the Aka Diaz restaurant was transformed into a police station during filming! Finally, let’s obviously not forget Terre-de-Haut, where many local extras played the game.
