The chance of cross-battles brought two former friends from the same singing school together this Saturday, May 4.

The result of the votes was so close between Sahteene and Odem that the eldest of the Toulouse brothers rebelled somewhat to demand equal speaking time between the coaches.

These performances can be found on TF1+ with all the interpretations of the season.

They fell into each other’s arms with the same force. With misty eyes, Sahteene and Odem congratulated each other even before knowing the outcome of their cross-battle set up by their coaches. Without knowing that the two talents of “The Voice” knew each other very well. Students in the same singing school last year, it was face to face that they defended their place in the TF1 singing competition this Saturday, May 4. It was Vianney who had the upper hand during this stage, during which two competitors from two different teams competed.

Vianney chose to challenge Bigflo and Oli with his raw talent from Corsica, Odem. The people of Toulouse responded with Sahteene and her delicate interpretation. The first gave everything on “Le Chanteur” by Daniel Balavoine, until missing a note. The second seized on “Je suis un homme” by Zazie, delighted to see her title taken up by the young woman. Both delivered intense performances which brought the coaches into agreement but divided the public present on stage at the time of the votes.

Bigflo

“This is the third closest cross-battle we have experienced”, warns Nikos Aliagas before the results are displayed. Odem qualifies for the super cross-battles with 50.2% of the votes, a small vote in advance. “With one voice, we lose an incredible voice”summarizes Oli while his older brother expresses his disappointment at seeing Sahteene leave, launching the start of “revolution”. “I’m not a bad player or anything, but if in terms of speaking time, there could be a timer…”says Bigflo, believing that Vianney’s compliments towards his talent weighed in the balance when the public made their choice.

“I know that you obviously have regrets about what happened there. You tripped, it’s not serious at all. Behind, you decided to surpass yourself to make up for it. You did it my guy! You need a lot of mental and technical strength. People will perhaps give you one last chance, you must never disappoint them., had notably launched Vianney to Odem. Bigflo asked for powerr “defend our talents” before the votes opened, collecting a “Bigflo president!” by Mika. But it is Nikos Aliagas who will have the last word, inviting the rappers to be “more biting” to convince the spectators. Advice that the pair intends to apply later.
