This duo, who joined the series in 2021, will soon disappear from the daily program. A controversial decision. Another actor in the flagship M6 series, Frédéric Bouraly, spoke to our colleagues at Télé 7 Jours, Monday September 30, 2024 on this subject. To fully understand the controversy, we must remember that the departure of Louise and Jalil is not voluntary. According to an article published by Médiapart, Thursday September 26, 2024, the two actors were informed on July 3, 2024 that their collaboration with the series was ending, without notice. They had initially signed for a longer-term commitment. Claudia Mongumu also accused the channel of racism among our colleagues.

She first confided: “They tried to exclude us from prime time before we demanded to participate. We weren’t in most of the trailers for the series.” And added: “Not only are none of us white, but our backgrounds involve playing scenes, at family reunions for example, with several black and Arab actors. And perhaps that’s a lot for a channel that thinks that not being white is not being universal.” Accusations refuted by M6.
