“OWe weren’t even supposed to be there » underlines Laura, while she is in the final with her hairdresser Romain. It’s true that they were a replacement pair. “ We weren’t well prepared, we were called in the morning to take the plane in the evening » says Romain. The pair from Pas-de-Calais were invited to replace two Belgian candidates, not cut out for adventure and who gave up in the first stage. Both fans of the show, Laura, 35 years old, from Rebreuve-Ranchicourt, and Romain, 29 years old, from Sallaumines, often spoke about “Pekin express”, at the hair salon where one has been doing the other’s hair for ten years. They ended up signing up together for this “ dream of a lifetime “.

As with previous episodes, they meet at the Cave du Krake’n, in Bruay La Buissière, to follow the final on Saturday evening, with several former candidates.
