Guy A. Lepage was on the radio, on the show Anything can happenwhere he discussed various topics, including the controversy surrounding the franchise of MC Gillesbut also of his former court jester Dany Turcotte.
This is following a question from the host. Marie-Louise Arsenault that he who leads Everyone is talking about it for 21 seasons has confided in the man who is sometimes his co-host.
Marie-Louise wanted to know what Guy thought about the public’s opinion on social media, which reacts strongly to certain comments made on the Sunday talk show, unlike before, as in the case of MC.
“I really like MC, I like it when he does that…”, Lepage begins on the subject.
“That’s you, but does the public react more violently to slightly more serious questions? tough or in the face of comments than before, Guy?», asks Marie-Louise.
“Well, yes, because Dany Turcotte went through that, when he started making comments or maps a little… he found it hard. Then, I told him: This is your job, you have to continue, you have to accept this (…) But what I mean is that yes, maybe the public has changed or is more cautious. But I continue to think that this is how this show should be done,” says the comedian and seasoned host.
Controversies which do not seem to have any impact on the popularity of the show, as Guy A. Lepage points out.
