Psychosis around non-existent bedbugs
Rumors about bedbugs in the hospital spread around town, causing a certain psychosis in Claudine Becker. She carefully disinfects her office. The lawyer goes so far as to ask Florent to take off his clothes. As Claire works at the hospital, she is convinced that her partner brings some back to the office. Florent tries to reason with her. He explains to Claudine that a former patient invented this whole bedbug story to extort money from the hospital.
Marc and Léonor have breakfast in town. Marc doesn’t want to go to work and confides to his partner that Marie-Sophie has already started to bother him. Léonor thinks that the new editor-in-chief of Midi Libre is just looking for her place and that she has nothing against him. She advises Marc not to shy away and to be patient.
Later that day, Marie-Sophie tasks Marc with writing an article on bedbugs. She explains to him that there is a huge enthusiasm on social networks. Marc points out that they already talked about it a lot last year. Marie-Sophie replies that it is current and that their readers have the right to be informed.
At the hospital, the director informs Janet that the bedbug detection expert is touring the departments. She hopes this will be enough to reassure everyone. At the same time, Janet receives a visit from Marc who has come to interview her. She assures him that their former patient did not catch bedbugs at the hospital. The expert has just finished examining the department’s rooms and confirms his statement. Marc then visits Mr. Brochard, the former patient, who maintains his position.

At the police station, Alex and Manu inform Clément that Bordais persists in denying the obvious despite the evidence. Alex assures the Becker police station that they are not going to give up anything. Against all expectations, Clément congratulates him on his work.
