Météo- has placed 16 departments on yellow rain-flood vigilance for the day of Friday, January 24.

Be careful in the west of the country. Some 16 departments in the west and north-west of France are subject to a yellow alert this Friday, January 24, for rain-flooding.

Are concerned: , Côtes-d’Armor, Eure, Finistère, Ille-et-Vilaine, -Atlantique, Maine-et-Loire, Manche, Mayenne, Oise, Orne, , Seine-Maritime, , Vendée and Val-d’Oise.

Morbihan has notably been placed on orange alert for the same weather risks. An alert which will come into effect from 6 p.m. this Friday.

is experiencing bad weather resulting from Storm Eowyn, a phenomenon which is currently circulating across Ireland and Great Britain.

Thus, the weather will be “disturbed and rainy all day between Brittany and as far as Hauts-de-France,” Météo-France reported in its latest bulletin.
