Météo-France has placed 16 departments on yellow rain-flood vigilance for the day of Friday, January 24.
Be careful in the west of the country. Some 16 departments in the west and north-west of France are subject to a yellow alert this Friday, January 24, for rain-flooding.
Are concerned: Calvados, Côtes-d’Armor, Eure, Finistère, Ille-et-Vilaine, Loire-Atlantique, Maine-et-Loire, Manche, Mayenne, Oise, Orne, Sarthe, Seine-Maritime, Yvelines, Vendée and Val-d’Oise.
Morbihan has notably been placed on orange alert for the same weather risks. An alert which will come into effect from 6 p.m. this Friday.
-Brittany is experiencing bad weather resulting from Storm Eowyn, a phenomenon which is currently circulating across Ireland and Great Britain.
Thus, the weather will be “disturbed and rainy all day between Brittany and Pays de la Loire as far as Hauts-de-France,” Météo-France reported in its latest bulletin.
