The Chat GPT site, like the eponymous application or others based on its services, are running in a vacuum. At the moment, there is no reaction or explanation from OpenAI. So we don’t really know when the situation will be restored. Obviously social networks are panicking and the world is seeing to what extent users have become dependent on the bot…
As shown on the site Down Detector, the first cases were recorded around midday and a half and since then nothing has happened… DIn any case, we remind you that there are other alternatives which we detail here.
Update 14.45: apparently the situation has been restored for some users. OpenAI acknowledged the outage without expanding on the subject as can be seen on its status page…
