13-year-old hospitalized after being burned in arson

Last night, a 13-year-old child, who was in an apartment in the 3rd arrondissement of Marseille, was burned in a fire, according to information from Provence. While in the family apartment, the boy was attracted by a liquid with a strong smell of gasoline which was under the front door. His curiosity pushed him to approach the hydrocarbon. At the same time, the liquid ignited, burning the little boy.

The fire brought under control by the brother and sister

The victim’s brother and sister, aged 17 and 20, who were present with him in the apartment, managed to bring the fire under control even before emergency services arrived.

The firefighters arrived on site quickly. They took care of the child who was suffering from burns. His condition is not necessarily considered worrying. An investigation was opened by the police to determine the circumstances of this arson.
