In a friendly match played on Wednesday at Inter et Co Stadium, the United States scored a decisive 3-0 victory over Costa Rica. The first goal came in the 20th minute of the first half, when Brian White dazzled the fans with a superb finish which found the back of the net. The United States maintained its momentum in the second half, with Caden Clark doubling the advantage in the 31st minute with a well-constructed goal. Patrick Agyemang also scored in the 44th minute of the same half, completing a perfectly executed move.
Caden Clark’s impressive performance earned him the man of the match award, with the American midfielder scoring a goal. Another key player at the Inter and Co Stadium was Patrick Agyemang, who also scored a goal for the United States.
United States coach Mauricio Pochettino opted for a 4-3-3 formation with Zack Steffen in goal; Miles Robinson, Walker Zimmerman, Tim Ream and Dejuan Jones forming the defensive line; Emeka Eneli, Benjamin Cremaschi and Diego Luna in the middle; and Indiana Vassilev, Brian Gutiérrez and Brian White on offense.

For its part, Costa Rica, led by Miguel Herrera, lined up a 5-3-2 formation with Esteban Alvarado in goal; Fernán Faerrón, Santiago Van Der Putten, Ryan Bolaños, Haxzel Quirós and Joseph Mora in defense; Rashir Parkins, Alejandro Bran and Creichel Pérez in the middle; and Josimar Méndez and Andy Rojas in attack.
-USA substitutions included Benjamin Cremaschi replacing Caden Christopher Clark at halftime, and several other adjustments throughout the second half, including Indiana Vassilev replaced by Maximilian Michael Arfsten in the 59th minute, and Brian White substituted by Patrick Agyemang in the 74th minute. The team received several cautions, with Miles Robinson cautioned in the 39th minute, Jack McGlynn in the 13th minute of the second half, and Matko Miljevic in the 27th minute of the same half.

Costa Rica also made changes, with Creichel Pérez Arias replaced by Diego de Jesús Campos Ballestero in the 71st minute. Santiago Van Der Putten and Fernán Faerrón were booked in the 38th minute of the first half and the 19th minute of the second half, respectively.
