“I have the support of other grooming salons as well as the Brigitte Bardot Foundation. I want us to recognize that Soprano died following inappropriate actions,” says Patricia Tison, who claims to have testimonies supporting her remarks.

The trial at local court of Abbeville which was initially scheduled for November 15, 2024 had been postponed to January 17, 2025 then postponed again to the end of March. Determined not to give up, the owner of Soprano continues her fight. “Soprano was a very nice dog. He had to take training to do sea rescue…”

“I don’t do this for the money. And if I obtain damages, I will donate them to an association or foundation for animals,” she specifies.

The dog had been given medication just before coming to the salon

The manager of Style Dog

The manager of Style Dog Mathieu Millot said regarding this matter: “there was an unfortunate accident. I followed the procedure. The dog had been given medication just before coming to the salon, which may have caused his condition. For my part, I have a contradictory opinion from another veterinarian. I never had a serious problem before Soprano died and none since. »

It will be up to the court to shed light on the reasons for the death of the young Newfoundland and to rule on the responsibility or not of the Abbeville grooming salon.
