Champlitte. Age-old tradition, Saint-Vincent Day has not aged a bit

1612. More than four centuries of history. 413 years of unfailing fidelity, even if it is literally wrong to reason in so many editions, since exceptional circumstances, such as Covid in 2021, prevented gatherings, but not testimonies.

Saint-Vincent de Champlitte is an old lady who is doing well. A Catholic festival, which was celebrated in the Chanitoise church since its creation, the event has never departed from its original values. Around Saint Vincent, patron saint of winegrowers, a corporation which supported so many families in this Chanitois city with a rich wine-growing past, the idea of ​​sharing and solidarity has always existed.
