While their identity was not known until very shortly before their release, it was finally shortly before 10 a.m. this Sunday, January 19, that Hamas published on Telegram the names of these young women aged between 24 and 31 years old. This is their story.

Aged 28, this young woman has dual Israeli and British nationality. On October 7, 2023, she was kidnapped by Hamas while in the Kibbutz of Kfar Aza, according to the BBC. She lived in the “youth neighborhood,” where 11 people were shot and seven kidnapped out of 37 residents. Wounded in the hand by a bullet, she was also hit by shrapnel during her kidnapping, according to information provided by her family. His dog Choocha was shot dead during the attack.
