Defendants involved in pimping
According to the Spanish police who arrested them, the two fugitives were “involved in pimping”. They had been living near Barcelona for around twenty years, under a false identity.
In this case, two young Romanian prostitutes said they had been bothered by Mr. Charuel, who was then put in a car by two men they said they did not know.
The investigation, however, showed that the two accused, an uncle and his nephew, are said to be the pimps of the two women.
