Luc Ferry is a professor of philosophy and a former minister who has his appearances on television sets. Regularly invited on LCI, he only appears calm. Underneath his little glasses hides a hot temperament which can sometimes play tricks on him. We were thus able to attend a tasty new pass of arms on the set of Darius Rochebin.
The former Minister of National Education was therefore the guest of the political journalist on LCI this Sunday. He was accompanied by Daniel Cohn-Bendit on set. The opportunity for the three men to address the various current issues of the moment. All it took was a somewhat daring comparison from Luc Ferry to set fire to the powder.
The comparison of Luc Ferry which does not pass
During last night’s show presented by Darius Rochebin on LCI, a debate was launched around of the very controversial personality of Mohamed Ben Salmanthe crown prince of Saudi Arabia. When Daniel Cohn-Bendit mentioned this name, Luc Ferry’s blood boiled. The former Minister of National Education then indulged in a more than daring comparison with neither more nor less than Hitler.
An exit which the presenter immediately wanted to stopaware that this could cause harm to his guest and his show. Darius Rochebin’s attempts to delay the match ultimately only increased Luc Ferry’s anger. The latter then threatened to simply leave the set live. « That’s enough otherwise I’m leaving the set ».
A precedent from a few months ago
Luc Ferry is a regular on the LCI set. The philosophy professor is in fact a great follower of political and international news. He therefore likes to debate and discuss these often hot topics. As a man of character, he can sometimes get carried away by his emotions. This had already been the case last March, where he had considerably raised his voice in a debate around comments made by Stéphane Séjourné. A debate in which was present… Daniel Cohn-Bendit.
-After having raised his voice regarding the remarks of the Minister of Foreign Affairs at the time, who had alerted on the dangers of Western pacifismDarius Rochebin had already tried to appease him, but in vain. Luc Ferry was then on his high horse. “No, there is no calm, it’s too stupid. I do what I want my friend, I get angry if I want to get angry. I say what I want here and I won’t be stopped from saying it. (…) You’re starting to bother me constantly cutting me off.” LCI may think twice before re-inviting Luc Ferry and Daniel Cohn-Bendit together.
