his children are accused of the murder of their father, found in a box in

The mother of the two people indicted in this case describes a man who was “violent” towards her but also towards her children.

A new damning testimony in the family murder case in . While three people are still placed in pre-trial detention, including the victim’s two children, now aged 19 and 22, their mother testified to BFMTV about the violence that she and the two children suffered from the hand of the man found dead in a box. She lived ten years of her life with the latter, whom she met in Mulhouse.

“He was a monster. (…) He was very violent, he beat me. Nothing could drive him crazy,” she told BFMTV, wishing to preserve her anonymity.

Laetitia describes a man who was violent towards her, but also towards her children, from a very young age. “He hit his children when they were very little,” she says, also claiming to have been beaten while she was pregnant with her daughter. “He got angry, he broke everything, he broke my nose.”

Reported missing in 2021

Laetitia also reports sexual violence committed against her, but also against her daughter. “She told me he had already raped her,” she says. When she was still living with him, social services came to their home several times. Laetitia went several times to the police, who “never took a complaint, only handrails”.

The man went missing in 2021. At the time, his partner (now indicted for helping to hide the body) contacted Laetitia to tell her “that he had disappeared and that it was necessary (that she) picks up the children.”

“His ex-partner told me that he had taken medication and that he had been drinking and that he no longer gave any news. (…) I did not try to find out more,” declared – she, adding that she has “no sorrow for someone like him.”

Laetitia regrets today that even “in death, he ruins (her) life and that of (her) children”. If she understands “that it is not possible to take justice into one’s own hands”, she believes that her children “made a choice where it was either them or him”.

“I want justice to understand that my children suffered so much because of this executioner. (…) I want my children back,” she concludes.

Since the revelation of the affair, the partner and the daughter of the woman indicted have also spoken out to support her, denouncing the violence that she and her children suffered at the hands of the victim.
