Jeanne Richard takes his first podium in Biathlon World Cup !
After his fourth places in pursuit and sprint at Annecy – Le Grand Bornandthe Frenchwoman this time climbed onto the box by finishing third in the women’s mass start Ruhpolding.
The 22-year-old biathlete completed a superb race to complete a top 3 where we find Elvira Oebergwinner in 33 min 00 s 5, and Franziska Preuss2nd to 25th s.
She even competed for second place with the leader of the general classification until the end of an incredible final sprint. Jeanne Richard finally finished behind the German by only 0.4 s behind, a performance which was enough for her happiness: she is third!
-His 20/20 on shots was enhanced by a superb last round to resist Dorothea Wierer who takes fourth place just 2.5 s behind. Suvi Minkkinen who was also able to believe in the podium in an exceptional finish completed the top 5.
The French Océane Michelon (8th) and Lou Jeanmonnot (9th) also finished in the top 10.
