Algerian international Mohamed Amine Amoura stood out in the Bundesliga during the match between his team Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich on Saturday. Despite a defeat for his team (3-2), the Algerian striker managed to score two goals against Manuel Neuer.
Starting in attack, Amoura equalized in the 24th minute after Goretzka opened the scoring for Bayern. Four minutes later, he found the net once again, allowing his team to temporarily get back into the match.
Bayern regained the lead thanks to Michael Olise, who capitalized on an error by the Wolfsburg goalkeeper in the 39th minute. In the second half, Goretzka added a third goal for Bayern on the hour mark. Amoura reduced the gap at the end of the match (88th), but Wolfsburg could not avoid defeat.
-Arriving in Wolfsburg last summer from Union Saint-Gilloise (Belgium), Amoura quickly established himself as an important element of the squad. Since the start of the season, he has scored 8 goals and made 6 assists in 17 Bundesliga matches. He currently occupies 8th place in the ranking of top scorers in the German championship.
According to the Transfermarkt website, his market value has increased, from 18 to 22 million euros. He thus continues to confirm his potential at the highest level.
