The RWDM was more present in the second half, in particular thanks to the rise in play of Halifa in midfield, taking the distribution into his own hands, making his teammates play better. Newcomer, Benjdida also stood out since six minutes after entering the game, the attacker on loan from Standard did not ask himself any questions and sent a cross to the back of Renner’s net (63rd, 0-1).
Ziani could have doubled the lead straight away on a nice delivery from Benjdida but his recovery was blocked. The RWDM maintained the pressure before logically seeing Eupen push in the last minutes, without however worrying Lathouwers. Enough to ensure a small but precious victory in the race to climb.
