David Lynch films to see at least once in your life
David Lynch has undeniably left his mark on cinema. He began his career in the 1970s and is the author of around ten feature films. Most of them – if not all – have entered the Pantheon of cult films. When we think of David Lynch, we inevitably think of landmark works such as “Mulholland Drive” (2001) with Naomi Watts and Laura Harring. But also “Sailor and Lula” (1990), led by the duo Laura Dern and Nicolas Cage, “Blue Velvet” (1986) with Isabella Rossellini, “Elephant Man” (1980) or even “Dune” (1984) which, at time of its release, is far from unanimous.
Director, musician, painter… David Lynch has not confined himself to the seventh art. He is a true jack of all trades, taking a dark and surreal look at humanity. In 1990, he shook the world of the small screen with a captivating series: “Twin Peaks”. A psychological drama, combining police investigation, supernatural elements, dreamlike atmosphere and unique characters.
