The saleswoman at the gas station where Didier Reynders bought the lottery tickets speaks: “We had to remain discreet”

This Thursday, we informed you that the National Bank of Belgium (BNB) had opened an inspection against ING Belgium regarding the management of the bank around Didier Reynders’ current account. As a reminder, the liberal politician is suspected of money laundering.

This Friday, Le Soir gives the floor to the saleswoman at the gas station where Didier Reynders came to collect his tickets. A Texaco Prince d’ station located just a few meters from the politician’s home. She confides: “He came regularly at the end of the afternoon, he bought two to three thousand euros worth of lottery tickets.” And adds that a former colleague had warned him, because “you had to remain discreet” with this client and “put the money directly in the safe”.
