: the Montreal Roses reach an agreement with striker Noémi Paquin

The Montreal Roses have reached an agreement with Quebec striker Noémi Paquin, the organization of the Super Ligue du announced Thursday morning.

Paquin, from Varennes, particularly distinguished herself during her career at Florida International University (FIU), where she scored 15 goals and collected four assists in 20 games.

“Returning to Quebec is an ideal opportunity to launch my professional career in an environment that resembles me and where I already feel connected. From the first discussions, the organization and the energy around this project convinced me,” confided Paquin, who is 23 years old, in a press release.

Her performances earned her several honors, and she helped her team win the regular season championship and the university conference tournament.

“Noémi is an exceptional player: fast, intelligent and blessed with remarkable game vision. Her time in Florida proved that she is a real scorer, capable of adapting to all situations. Whether with or without a ball, his races are thoughtful and efficient. We are proud to welcome him to the Montreal Roses, and we will do everything to help him develop and shine on the pitch,” declared Marinette Pichon, sports director of the Roses.

The Roses are the professional women’s team representing the Quebec metropolis in the Super Ligue du Nord (SLN). This circuit must officially begin its sporting activities in the spring.
