The woman driving the van, born in 1977, was not drunk at the time of her arrest but made “incoherent comments without ideological or religious connotation”. “She related the facts to a deep psychological malaise, the cause of which she attributes to an old dispute with her employer,” the prosecution said this Friday. Four category C weapons (firearms requiring a permit) or D (which can be purchased and possessed freely under conditions, for example tear gas bomb or collector’s weapon) were found in the vehicle, explained the prosecutor without further details. . These weapons “had been purchased following an attack of which the accused was allegedly the victim 4 years ago, and kept since,” specifies Sébastien Gallois.

At least three other people, “a cyclist, a pedestrian and a driver, as well as municipal police officers” were “put in danger” during the chase between the police and the motorist, the prosecution indicated. . According to the prosecution, this Friday, “eight other people, without being injured, have already filed a complaint, in connection with the numerous traffic offenses committed during the chase, from Rouen to Buchy”, without further details.
