A shed containing several agricultural machines catches fire in the early morning

The Gers firefighters once again intervened for a fire in an agricultural building. This one broke out in the town of Saint-Griède.

The alert was given very early, at 5:18 a.m. In the shed there were two tractors, a trailer and a hydraulic splitter. The fire spread to 50 m2 of roof of the wooden structure shed with an area of ​​140 m2.

The firefighters, 18 of whom went to the scene quickly, were able to save the shed. They intervened with two pump machines, a lifting arm, a water carrier, an ambulance, under the orders of a group leader.

There were no injuries.

The police also went to the scene and found the accidental origin of the fire.

The mayor of the town Anne-Marie Saint-Pe was also on site.
