Weather report. What is the weather like this Thursday, January 16 in Hauts-de-?

Will we see the sun today? If the weather conditions are similar to those of yesterday, it seems that the atmosphere will become brighter this afternoon with the return of clearing. This will do some good.

It is, again and again, anticyclonic conditions that accompany us. Managing cloud cover remains the number one challenge; winter high pressure does not, as you know, mean sunshine. This morning, the grayness is widespread. The mists and fogs of the night linger all morning. However, if everything is confirmed, it is from the east of the region that this grayness will begin to break up at the end of the morning, allowing clearings to develop. The variable wind is weak.

The afternoon will gradually become sunnier as the clearings will progress towards the west, so it is the return of much more pleasant weather for many, it is only in the departments of and Oise that the clouds will persist. They will give way to mists or fogs on the heights in the evening.

Minimum temperatures vary inland from -1°C (in for example) to 1°C. In the coastal sector, Météo France announces 1 to 3°C.

The milder, but also more humid air of yesterday is starting to leave us with a cooling of the maximums. This afternoon we expect 6 and 7°C on the coast, 1 to 5°C everywhere else.

Friday : the flow will remain continental at low levels, the air will therefore become cooler and drier. We will monitor the formation of mist and fog during the night from Thursday to Friday as they can be locally dense and icy and will of course be present at the start of the day. The development should be favorable with the return of the sun, even if in places, the dislocation of the gray may take some time. Frosts at night and at the start of the day will be widespread with -3°C to 0°C, for the maximum count on 2 to 5°C in general.

SATURDAY : grayer day ? Be careful as every day with the sometimes dense and freezing fogs which will have formed during the night and which will be widespread as will the frosts (-4 to -1°C). The chances of seeing the sun seem minimal, gray weather will predominate. The maximums will drop by 2 to 4°C.

Sunday : the days follow each other… Freezing fogs and frosts once again widespread. Although visibilities will improve late in the morning, low clouds will be difficult to dislodge. It is therefore a heavy sky which should then accompany us. Minimum temperatures of -4 to -2°C inland, -1 to 1°C by the sea, maximums generally between 0 and 4°C. (Confidence index for this deadline 4 out of 5)

Reduced visibility every morning, caution, especially if the fog is freezing

Today, particle levels will fall below the threshold for triggering a pollution episode. However, as you can see on the ATMO Hauts-de-France map, the air quality remains degraded to poor over a large part of our territory.

While January 16, 1920 marked the start of prohibition in the United States, a few years later, in 1982, French viewers watched on Antenne 2 at the time, the first variety show Champs Elysées with Michel Drucker.

Happy birthday to the natives of the 16th, like the French actor and writer Richard Bohringer in 1941, and the British model Kate Moss in 1974.

Have a nice day everyone, enjoy the sun that should come out and tomorrow, don’t forget to celebrate the Roseline, Roselyne.
