The photo Newcastle United fans were all dying to see on Wednesday night at St James’ Park.
Alexander Isak with two more goals, an astonishing run of eight Premier League games where he scored (at least once!) in every game.
Isak then set Gordon up for the third.
A great performance from a committed team and even though Wolves had their moments, United still fully deserved the victory!
Another winning post-match shot.
Another photo = The fifteenth of this season.
The Newcastle United head coach introduced this tradition of a post-match photo that everyone included after every win, as he felt it worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.
(This is actually United’s seventeenth win of the season but for some reason no winning photos after the win against AFC Wimbledon. Then at the Emirates last week I’m sure no photos post-match dressing room session was only taken due to (the fact that Arsenal’s semi-final is only halfway over.)
Eight photos (nine wins!) in a row.
It’s also a huge bonus how much it excites fans of some other clubs and journalists.
“Look at them, think they won the Premier League / Champions League… etc etc”
There are still seventeen Premier League games to go, as well as many more cup games (in both competitions!), so hopefully many more of these photos to come.
