Kate, who celebrated her 43rd birthday on January 9, visited the Royal Marsden Hospital in London where she was treated for cancer on Tuesday to thank staff and support patients. During this visit, she praised the “extraordinary work” carried out in this hospital.
Brutal year
In February 2024, Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles III was suffering from cancer, without specifying the nature, and that he was withdrawing from public life to undergo treatment.
The following month, Kate revealed that she also had cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy, before announcing in September the end of her treatment.
