Traffic conditions in Côte-d’Or: caution in the face of frost and flooding

Traffic conditions are currently normal on most of the Côte-d’Or departmental road network, according to the latest press release from Inforoute21. However, motorists are advised to exercise extra caution due to some areas presenting particular risks.

Be careful of frost on certain roads

This morning, localized white frosts are making some roads slightly slippery. This is particularly the case on the A38, Côte-d’Orienne, where occasional salting operations are underway to secure traffic conditions. Drivers are advised to adapt their speed and maintain an increased safety distance to avoid any incidents.

Roads still affected by flooding

Two roads remain disrupted due to flooding:

  • The RD 12 in Chivres is still closed to traffic.
  • The RD 959 in Bure-les-Templiers is partially flooded, making traffic difficult on this section.

Motorists must respect the diversions put in place and keep informed of developments in the situation.

Reminder to drivers

Inforoute21 recommends that all users remain vigilant, particularly at the start of the day when temperatures are still low, and to regularly consult updates on the state of the road network. Everyone’s safety depends on responsible driving behavior.

Stay cautious and plan for a slightly longer travel time in the affected areas.
