Three people died in a fire in a house in Wingles, north of Lens (Pas-de-Calais), according to the firefighters’ final assessment, reports “ici Nord”, Monday January 13. The fire started around 4:15 a.m., during the night from Sunday to Monday.
When they arrived on the scene, emergency services took charge of two boys, aged 11 and 12, who had come out of the house and were transported as a “relative emergency” to the Lens hospital center.
According to firefighters, the identity and sex of the three people found deceased in the home could not immediately be determined.
