The emergency services were called this Monday, shortly after midday, for a fire in a chalet on rue des Sapins in Biron, in the commune of Erezée. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a fully developed fire in the veranda located at the rear of the building. The flames had already spread to the rest of the chalet.

Although the chalet was partially preserved, it is unfortunately uninhabitable due to damage caused by flames and smoke. The municipal authorities, immediately alerted, went to the site to assess the situation. The residents were taken care of by their neighbors, who sheltered them temporarily.

The Famenne-Ardenne police zone (FAMA) was also dispatched to the scene to carry out the findings. The causes of the fire remain to be determined.
