In , a septuagenarian discovered dead in his bathtub, with a bag on his head

The lifeless body of a 78-year-old man was discovered on January 2 in the bathroom of his apartment on the first floor of a building located in the Corniguel district, in , at 13 avenue Auguste Gantier, as reported by Ouest- this Sunday, January 12. There is little doubt about the criminal act.

“Head stuck in a bag”

This is confirmed by the new public prosecutor of Quimper, Cécile Flamet. “The body of the person concerned, aged 78, was discovered in his bathtub, his head stuffed in a bag, and the bathtub having been filled with corrosive products. The autopsy, carried out on January 6, 2025 by a forensic doctor from the forensic institute, confirmed the criminal origin of the death.

A 47-year-old man wanted

Pierre Millour, a former mechanic in Fouesnant, reportedly received several stab wounds. In the vicinity of this small residence, no one noticed anything. Neither heard any suspicious noises. It was relatives, worried about not having heard from him for several days, who raised the alarm. “Investigations are underway to establish in particular the victim’s schedule and contacts in the days preceding the macabre discovery,” continues the prosecutor, who indicates that the investigation, opened on the charge of assassination, has been entrusted to the Brest judicial police. A 47-year-old man, close to the victim, is reportedly wanted.
