After moving at the start of 2025, Asvel women will play their first match this Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at the Palais des sports de Gerland against Villeneuve d’Ascq.
A meeting like no other. After years at the Mado Bonnet gymnasium in the 8th arrondissement of Lyon, women’s Asvel is moving. This Sunday, January 12 at 4:30 p.m., the women’s section of the Lyon Basketball club will play its very first match at the Palais des sports de Gerland.
A room with a capacity of more than 5,000 seats, well more than double what their old enclosure could accommodate.

For this meeting marked by novelty, the women of Asvel meet the team from Villeneuve-d’Ascq, 9th in the ranking.
