Today’s press largely agrees on the team compositions of PSG/Saint-Etienne which takes place this Sunday evening (8:45 p.m.) as part of the 17th day of L1. On the Parisian side, no surprises are expected.
Almost a month after its last match in the competition, a triumph in Monaco (4-2) which opened the door to the title, PSG returns to Ligue 1 this Sunday evening with the reception of AS Saint-Etienne, its runner-up on the charts with ten titles. For this well-known poster of the championship, Paris is practically complete minus Marquinhos, Saint-Etienne very weakened, and the announced team compositions are therefore very different.
On the PSG side, we should logically find Donnarumma in the goals in front of a very classic defense: Judge on the right, Nuno Mendes to the left and On it in the left axis. To replace Marquinhos, it is his compatriot Beraldo which is expected, the left-hander therefore taking the right axis. In the middle of the field, no surprises in sight at the sentry post with Vitinhanor as a right torchbearer with Zaire-Emery.
The first position in doubt in the starting lineup is that of left relay, with João Neves according to L’Equipe and Fabian Ruiz for Le Parisien. The two newspapers also come together on Dembele’s as a right winger and the returning Gonçalo Ramos in the axis of attack. But the left winger position is also open: the sports newspaper leans towards Staggerthe regional daily for Désiré Gifted. Response around 8 p.m., with probably one or two surprises from Luis Enrique that no one will have seen coming.

On the Saint-Etienne side, the composition which will challenge PSG will necessarily be in line with that against Reims (3-1) last week, the first of the new coach Horneland. It is therefore a very classic 4-3-3 which is expected at the Parc des Princes with a Bouchouari-Ekwah-Mouton trio which is planned in the midfield. Up front, left winger Davitashvili should return to the starting lineup.
