Today at 11:33 p.m. – by Anne-Claire Dugas

The verdict fell this Thursday, January 9, 2025: the name of the winner of the 13th season of Best pastry chef on M6 is finally known. Find out his identity.

The Best Pastry Chef closes its season. After 14 weeks of intense competition, a candidate has finally been crowned. He had to excel during the last three tests imposed on amateur pastry chefs by Cyril Lignac and Mercotte. Under the eye of Laëtitia Milot, José, Timothée and Tsiory, the three finalists had to, for the first challenge, propose a cake representing their dearest wish. The proposals were as different as the profiles of the candidates were varied: the youngest mentioned obtaining his baccalaureate, José focused on a world tour of pastry. As for Tsiory, he opted to open a tea room.

The final is an opportunity for the M6 show to invite a distinguished personality from the world of pastry. It is Nina Métayer, best pastry chef in the world in 2024 who was invited. For this penultimate test of the competition, she asks the candidates to make her galette des reines, full of technical difficulties. The achievement too many for José who, faced with the failures encountered during the creation of the tile intended to symbolize the queen’s crown, “threw in the towel“. Stopping cooking before the end of the event, he explains to Laëtitia Milot that he “wouldn’t go any further. Indeed, after offering Timothée his 9th victory in a technical event, the jury’s deliberations sent Tsiory to the final event against the youngest in the competition.
