Météo France has placed the department of Finistère in yellow vigilance, this Wednesday January 8, 2025:
– for rain-floods since 6am
– for strong wind from 10 a.m.
– pour crue on the Laïta from 10 a.m.
-In order to guarantee the safety of road users, traffic speed on the Iroise bridge in Brest could be subject to speed limits announced by variable message signs.
In this context, the prefect of Finistère, Alain Espinasse, invites the population to be vigilant and recalls some precautionary advice:
- be careful if you practice activities sensitive to weather risks or near a shore or a watercourse;
- do not practice risky water activities;
- do not walk by the sea or by the river;
- secure your property that may be damaged;
- adapt your driving to the weather conditions.
