In a 2 minute 24 minute video, published by the Prince’s Palace, Prince Albert II and his Family sent their best wishes for the New Year.
Accompanied by Princess Charlène and this year, their children, Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, the Sovereign delivered a message full of gratitude, responsibility and hope.

Prince Albert II began his speech by emphasizing the importance of this privileged moment to address Monegasques and residents: “ As the year 2024 comes to an end, it is a privileged moment for me to address you, with all the respect and affection that I have for each and every one of you. »
Looking back on the highlights of the past year, he praised the commitment and resilience of the Monegasque community: “ The past year has been marked by challenges, but also by numerous successes and the unwavering solidarity that characterizes our Monegasque community. In these moments when we are turning a page to write a new one, I would like to pay tribute to your commitment, your resilience and your spirit of brotherhood. »
Prince Albert II also recalled the responsibilities incumbent on a prosperous Principality like Monaco: “ In Monaco, we are lucky to live in a prosperous country, where the values of respect, openness and responsibility combine harmoniously. But this opportunity comes with a responsibility: that of continuing to build a sustainable future focused on excellence for future generations. »
A message of support for the most vulnerable
A little later in his speech, the Sovereign dedicated a particular thought to those who are going through difficult times: “ At this particular moment, my thoughts also go to those for whom this period is more difficult, to those who are suffering. To them, I want to send a message of hope and encouragement. Know that you are not alone, and that Monaco is a united family. »
He also reaffirmed his commitment to a united and united Principality: “ The coming year will bring new projects, an opportunity to strengthen our environmental commitments, increase our solidarity with the most vulnerable and celebrate our common identity.
