When young Ferdi was only 16 years old, he left Adana for Istanbul with the dream of becoming a singer. As there was not much demand for child singers at that time, Ferdi Tayfur, who could not prove himself, returned to Adana and continued working as a tractor driver on the farm.
He returned to Istanbul in 1968 and signed a two-disc contract with Seda Plak. However, the two 45s he made did not work. He returns to Adana and resumes farm work. Three years later, his album entitled “I Have No Peace” was also not sold. Ferdi Tayfur has produced numerous albums.
